Session Title: Moneyball for Doctors - Matching Patients to the Right Providers
Julie Yoo, Co-Founder of Kyruus, will share the story that led to the founding of Kyruus, a healthcare IT company focused improving patient access for leading health systems across the country. As Chief Product Officer, Julie oversees the design and development of the company’s suite of search and scheduling applications, as well as the underlying provider data management platform that powers them. Julie will share insights from our 2017 Patient Access Journey Report and discuss the role that technology can play in resolving the “patient access paradox” -- patients waiting too long for care, while provider capacity goes underutilized. Through a hypothetical patient scenario exploration, attendees of this session will gain an understanding of the most important criteria to them when selecting providers, have an opportunity to talk through challenges in the patient-provider matching process, and ultimately understand how provider data management plays a key role in facilitating a better experience for patients and providers.
