A Password Manager? Here’s Why You Need One

With the rise of cloud apps and devices, everyone has more passwords than they can possibly keep track of, leaving many to resort to unsafe password behavior – from how they create and remember passwords, to how they share accounts with family members. The #1 reason people reset a password is because they forgot it. What if you could keep all your passwords safe and strong, but only had to remember one?

Following a quick tour of the LogMeIn office space, LogMeIn’s Rachael Stockton, Director of Product Marketing, will give attendees a look into our password management offering, LastPass, and lead a discussion around the dangers of using weak passwords, why using a browser isn’t the answer, and what secure online behavior looks like.

Session Title: The Future of Renter Technology: Your Chance to Influence our Product Roadmap!

More US households are renting than at any point in 50 years - 12.5M new households will be created over the next 10 years, and more than half of them will be renting. As a leading property management software company, Buildium is at the forefront of the changing real estate industry and the company is preparing for a shift towards a renter-focused real estate market. During the first half of our session, Buildium’s CEO & Co-founder, Michael Monteiro, will discuss how technology will impact the renter experience in the years to come. Then, Buildium’s VP of Product, Piyum Samaraweera, will lead a discussion and solicit ideas on what you—renters!—would like to see in a mobile app built with the resident experience in mind.

Following a quick tour of ezCater’s new office space, ezCater’s Vice President of Sales will take the floor to talk about how sales – and the DNA of a successful salesperson – has changed drastically over the last decade. Historically, sales professionals entered the profession as a last resort, but now people are making it their first choice. As a result, the market has become full of candidates with elite educational pedigrees who typically flocked to other industries. The session will spark a discussion that asks: What can companies do to attract this talent pool and what is the new responsibility of sales organizations as it switches from an era of "what can they do for us" to one of "what can we do for them"?
