Session Title: The robot-human alliance and its impact on the workplace of 2020

Please wear closed toe shoes to this session.

Most computer scientists agree that predictions about robots taking our jobs are inflated. Rather than worrying about robots making human jobs obsolete, consider the robot-human alliance; people and machines working together to make humans more “superhuman” at their jobs. Join Soft Robotics’ CEO Carl Vause to experience firsthand how Soft Robotics is combining its soft robotic gripping systems with AI to unlock robotic applications that were never thought possible. You’ll get hands-on with the technology while learning about its origins at Harvard University and DARPA. We’ll also be serving up plenty of live demonstrations to showcase the commercial applications that we are running today with customers in manufacturing facilities around the world. Finally, you’ll team up with a robot to experience the manufacturing workplace of the future.
